It hurts from the bottom half back? You can always pop a painkiller or two, but keep in mind, just numb pain pain for a while, but do not take it away. If you want to get rid of back pain for good, find out what causes it. Then and only then, can correct the problem.
But exactly how doctors diagnose the cause of their number backaches? Often, doctors use a rubber hammer to test your reflexes. But if your doctor has reason to suspect that there are serious reasons the midst backaches may apply You can undergo some medical procedures. There are three medical tests your doc may ask you to take, and thus can not be ruled out more serious causes such as infections, tumors or fractures.
1st MRI or CT examinations
Magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography can show problems with bones, muscles, tissues, blood vessels and the like.
2nd Bone scan
Veins will be injected tracer-radioactive substances-that doctors use to detect bone problems using a specialized camera. Doctors ask for brain scans, if they suspect your middle lower back pain caused by bone cancer, osteoporosis-related fractures.
Do not worry, though. For a large part of your doctor does not require medical tests to diagnose the cause of their number back pain. Most likelihood it will only rely on the hammer-reflex, which is made of rubber-examine your reflexes. It will ask you to sit, stand, walk, or lift legs in order to check exactly where the pain comes from, what causes it moves, whether you have muscle spasms with pain, or how can range from pain makes you stop motion.
