Question for EMT's, paramedics?
Only recently become involved with EMS and trauma scissors I bought from a web site, but I will not name ... ty i got were low quality, very loose (leaves are close together, they are really fragile), so I called them and they replaced them, and now the same is happening with a new pair i ... did not sail with them pennies ... just some jeans and one carton, so I'm looking for a good site to buy, tough trauma of scissors. Do you know any good ones? as well as those which are not run? Galls is for them a good website?
Buy a lot of things from Galls also have pretty good customer service. When it comes of trauma shears, like most facilities in the EMS will wear out relatively quickly. They lost, stepped on, and so on and so forth. One item that is okay to invest some money in the EMS system in the stethoscope. As it is quite useful to have a good, if you must hear the case, while bouncing around on the road. The key word was "little." Do not go out and buy a Littman Cardiology scope or something, as it is WAAAAY overkill. I would recommend Littman classic, which hovers around 40-50 dollars. They rock! I'm glad you joined the EMS. It's difficult but very rewarding profession. Let me know if I can help with something else.
