Although it certainly sounds like a great idea to go with light bulbs, which consume less energy, one must ask, whether we should be mandating that everyone must use light bulbs. After all, what's next? Size of the engine in the car, the quantity food you eat and the number of hours you watch TV or use the on-line social media? Indeed, if you stop and think that the concept of mandating the type of bulbs that we use is a slippery slope of government intervention in our personal lives.
This is where it starts, and despite the fact that energy savings Good choice, it interfering with lives of every American, is problematic and what we used for future mandates that violate our personal choice. If we keep allowing our elected representatives to the rules and regulations that favor one particular bulb manufacturer of all others, that every citizen to buy all new bulbs for their homes, we as American taxpayers corporate social support.
We are also destroying the elections in America. People have the right to choose what type light they use. Different types of light put out different frequencies, and each of these frequencies affect our bio-system in another way. If we were really only concerns the amount of energy we use, we go strictly LED lights, which use much less than others.
However, we now are told through parliamentary mandate laws, we can use just one type of light bulbs in our homes and businesses. And mind you I'm not saying that we should save energy, I think saving energy is a good idea, but I also believe that personal choice of how much energy you use, and since you paid for it, you should be able to choose it. Please, for everything, because I am pro-choice on light bulbs.
